Platon Tinios, is an economist, assistant professor at the University of Piraeus. He was educated in Egypt, Greece and the UK. He studied economics at the Universities of Cambridge (MA, Ph.D) and Oxford (M.Phil). He served as Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Greece from 1996 to 2004, specializing the economic analysis of social policy.

He was the principal author of the ‘Spraos Report’ in 1997 and was a member of the EU Social Protection Committee from 2000 to 2004. He has participated in IMF Technical Assistance missions in the areas of social expenditure and pensions. In 2015/6 he was a Visiting Senior Fellow at the London School of Economics.

His research interests include pensions, ageing populations, social policy, economics of insurance and public finance. He has written books and journal articles in English and in Greek. In 2016 he tabled a new proposal for a multi-pillar pension reform for Greece.

She is responsible for work on health, which aims at providing internationally comparable data on health systems and applying economic analysis to health policies, advising policy makers, stakeholders and citizens on how to respond to demands for more and better health care.

Juan Fuertes Juan Fuertes is the Advocacy and Access Manager of PHA Europe, the umbrella organization for pulmonary hypertension patients' organization. He is also a Board Member of the European Patients' Forum and Council Member of the European Lung Foundation.
Carmen Paun Carmen Paun is a health care reporter for POLITICO, based in Brussels. Before joining POLITICO, she was a freelancer covering regulatory and international affairs out of the EU capital. She has reported on a wide range of topics, from money laundering to food production to chemicals, for media organizations such as International News Services and Chemical Watch.
